Data Source

Enrollment data were obtained from the Bureau of TennCare, Tennessee Department of Finance and Administration. Population data were complied from the population profile estimated by the Division of Population Health Assessment, Tennessee Department of Health. The KIDS COUNT division of the Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth organized data and calculated rates

State total includes recipients who are Tennessee residents for which their domicile is temporarily located outside of the state.
