Definition

Percent of students rated as fully ready for kindergarten in the domain of "mathematical thinking" on the Maryland Model for School Readiness kindergarten assessment for the school year ending in that year.

FARMS is the Free And Reduced-price Meals program. Students are eligible for FARMS if their family income is under 185 percent of the federal poverty level.

Notes

In the 2010-2011 school year, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander and Two or More Races race/ethnicity indicators were added to the Maryland School Readiness report. In addition, the Asian race/ethnicity indicator no longer includes individuals who identify as Pacific Islander.

Subgroup data for 2006 for Washington and Wicomico Counties appears to have errors and is thus not presented.
