Definition

These data represent the number of children under 3 years old who are involved in the Birth to Three Early Intervention program that provides early intervention services to children with disabilities or developmental delays. These data are point-in-time counts from October 1st of each year. In January of 2025, the data for all years was updated.

These data may have been influenced by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, starting in 2020.
