Teens Not (2011–2023)

Definition

Percent of teenagers (16 to 19 years old) who are not enrolled in high school and are not high school graduates by Alaska Public Health Region.

Those who have a GED or equivalent are included as high school graduates in this measure. The measure used here is defined by the National Center for Education Statistics as a “status dropout” rate.
