Definition
Youth ages 16 to 19 who are not enrolled in school (full- or part-time) and have do no have a high school diploma or GED or higher by race and ethnicity. The measure used here is defined as a “status dropout” rate.

PRB analysis of data from the U.S. Census Bureau, Census Supplementary Survey & American Community Survey.
