Definition
The number of teens ages 16-19 who are not enrolled in school and are not high school graduates. (The status of high school graduate includes a GED or equivalent).
Percentage is derived by dividing the number of teens ages 16-19 who are not enrolled in school and are not high school graduates, by the total number of teens ages 16-19.

New Mexico state-level data typically are from the American Community Survey 1-year estimates. As a result of COVID-19 data collection challenges, the 2020 New Mexico state-level data are 5-year estimates and not comparable to other years.
