Definition
In 2023, the U.S. Census Bureau defined the poverty level as a combined annual income of $30,000 for a family of four. 200% of the Federal Poverty Level for a family of four is twice the amount of the poverty level ($60,00 for a family of four in 2019).
This indicator represents children ages 0-17 below 200% FPL.
The percent reflects the total number of children below 200% FPL of the total number of children 0-17 in that locality.
