Number - live births with gestation age less than 37 weeks.
Percent - live births with gestation age less than 37 weeks per 100 live births.
Data Source
Live births 2001-2023: Louisiana State Center for Health Statistics, Louisiana Department of Health.
Notes
LNE (low number event) - numbers are not reported when there were fewer than five events during the reporting period. Prior to 2011, rates based on fewer than 20 events are not reported.
