Percent - live births with gestation age less than 37 weeks per 100 live births.

LNE (Low Number Events) - Data are not reported when there were fewer than five events during the reporting period.

NA (not applicable) - Rates are not calculated when the denominator is zero.

Note that "Total" data include all racial and ethnic categories and thus may be larger than the sum of the categories presented here. Data for other racial and ethnic groups were not reported due to the small number of events in most parishes.
