PowerSlap Dataset

From what I could find, this is the first publicly available dataset (on Kaggle) for PowerSlap matches. PowerSlap is a company owned by the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) that holds "slap fights" where people hit each other back and forth. This company is relatively new; however, unlike other sports like MMA, there isn't much data.

My goal was to create a record of essential match data alongside fighter data based on what was available on the Powerslap website. There is some contradictory information (i.e., win-loss aren't entirely consistent on the website), but I tried my best. Most of the fighter data was scraped using a Python script, and I hand-annotated all of the match data when I watched each individual match on YouTube.

This data should be current up to Powerslap 5, and since I only annotated main events, there may not be a complete dataset of every match. Still, I tried my best to be as comprehensive as possible.

So far, this dataset contains records of 67 separate slap fights and 54 different fighters. Other UFC match datasets inspire many data fields, but there is often omitted information, as some things were not included in the match video.
