Context

IPL is one of the most exciting tournaments of Cricket around the world. Cricket has grown drastically over the years in terms of games and strategy. Every team has a dedicated analyst and experts to crunch data and come up with strategies that enable the franchise to win the game. This dataset contains extensive ball by ball data of each and every match played in IPL so far, including the ongoing 2020 season.

Note: Latest match data will be updated regularly and as consistent as possible.

Thoughts and Possibilities

I had the following thougts that can be accomplished while creating this dataset

1. Fantasy League Team Selection Recommendation engine.
2. Vulnerability detection - Recommending players to attack a specific batsman or bowler
3. IPL Score Prediction
4. IPL Match Winner Prediction
5. Visualizing correlation between age and performance of IPL players
   and lots more
