Comic Book Characters Dataset

This dataset contains information about characters from both the Marvel and DC universes, collected from the respective Wikias.

It includes demographic details such as gender, eye and hair color, alignment (good, bad, neutral), sexual and gender minority status, and whether the character is alive or deceased.

It also tracks each character's number of comic book appearances, their first appearance date, and their identity type (e.g., secret or public identity).

Data was scraped between August and October 2014.
