About this Dataset

Boundaries - Ward Precincts (2023-)

Ward precincts, which function as local election districts to determine the polling places for voters, based on their addresses. Precincts are based on U.S. Census Bureau blocks. These precincts were first used for the November 2022 election and first used for Chicago municipal elections in 2023. Neither this description nor the dataset should be relied upon in situations where legal precision is required.
