Dataset Description
Ward precincts, which function as local election districts to determine the polling places for voters, based on their addresses. Precincts are based on U.S. Census Bureau blocks.
On August 20, 2013, the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners approved this configuration of 2069 precincts.
The first election to which this dataset applies was the March 18, 2014 General Primary. The last election to which this dataset applies was the June 28, 2022 General Primary.
This dataset is in a format for spatial datasets that is inherently tabular but allows for a map as a derived view. Please click the indicated link below for such a map.
