Sickness information is recorded to ensure employees are appropriately supported at work and also helps give an understanding of the productivity of the workforce. The information is presented as the average number of days sick per Full Time Equivalent (FTE), calculated by dividing the total number of days lost over a 12 month period by the total number of FTEs.
