Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) child enrollment by county and the percent of enrollees within each county, who are children.
Virginia's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly the Food Stamp program, provides benefits to income-eligible families that can be used like cash to purchase certain foods.
The number represents the number of individual children in that locality who receive SNAP. The percent represents the number of children who receive SNAP of the total number of individuals (all ages) in that locality who receive SNAP.

York/Poquoson
As of CY 2013, Bedford City reverted to town status, and as of 2014 the counts for the town are shown within Bedford County.
