Definition

The number and percent of children of the total number who receive SNAP. This is individual recipients and not households. It is by state fiscal year, not point in time data. Hispanic ethnicity is not included in race data and therefore is not mutually exclusive and can not be used to derive percent’s among the other races. American Indian and Alaskan Native race are combined. Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islander are also combined.
