Definition

Number of hospitalizations of children under 18 for conditions that are typically dealt with successfully through prevention measures offered within primary care (such as asthma, dental problems).  Rate is expressed per 1,000 children under 18.

If no number is listed, the count has been suppressed for confidentiality purposes.
