Definition

Young adults ages 19 to 26 who are either enrolled in school (full or part time) or employed (full or part time). This measure is sometimes referred to as “Youth Connectedness.”

The 2010-2012 estimates are based on the 3-Year Public Use Microdata Sample files.

The 2013-2015 estimates are based on an average of three 1-Year Public Use Microdata Sample files.

S - Estimates suppressed when the coefficient of variation is greater than or equal to 30.
