Definition
The proportion of young adults ages 18-24 who are currently enrolled in college or have completed college (5-year average).
Data Source
PRB analysis of U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey PUMS.
Notes
American Community Survey estimates are based on location of residence. As such, estimates of college enrollment/completion represent where young adults are currently living as opposed to their legal residence, if those differ.
