Definition

Numerator: Own children under 18 in families and subfamilies where no parent is in the labor force. Denominator: Own children under 18 in families and subfamilies. Rate calculation: 100 times the numerator divided by the denominator. Large differences in county values between years may be due in part to the margin of error. New data will be loaded when it becomes available by the data provider.
