Births To Mothers Who Initiated Breastfeeding (2006–2019)

Definition

Births to mothers who had initiated breastfeeding at the time the birth certificate was completed. This does not measure whether or not the mother continued breastfeeding once at home. The percent is all births to mothers who initiated breastfeeding divided by the total number of live births. Data for Florida residents only.
