Definition

Mortality from all causes in teenagers from 15 to 19 years old, per 100,000 teens in this age group. The data are reported by place of residence, not by the place where the death occurred.

Notes

It is possible that the total number deaths may not match the overall frequency. This discrepancy can occur for births where no municipality was specified or for those births that took place outside of Puerto Rico, even if the mother was a resident of a municipality in Puerto Rico.
