Definition
For 1990, 2000, 2010, and 2020, the actual count of the total population. For all other years, estimates of the total population.
Data Source
This indicator has two population sources: actual population counts from the U.S. Census Bureau (1990, 2000, 2010 & 2020), and official population estimates (all other years) from the Texas State Data Center and the Office of the State Demographer, University of Texas at San Antonio.
