Teen Violent Death Rate (1990–2023)

Definition

The number of deaths from accidents, homicides, and suicides, per 100,000 teens ages 15 to 19 by Alaska Public Health Region. This is a 5-year moving average.

Notes

Five years of data were combined to minimize the unreliability of measurement due to the small number of actual events. The reported values are a moving average across five years.
