Preterm Births (1990–2023)

Definition

The three-year average number of live births with less than 37 weeks of gestation. The percent is based on total live births in
the mother’s county of residence.  Percents are suppressed with an "S" for fewer than two occurrences in the three-year period to maintain reliability.
