Notes

Differences between the 2022 totals and prior years reflect timing differences in data availability. Providers have up to 90 days to submit billing (CDC 90-Day Billing), so counts in the MDHHS Green Book, published in January, may not include all December service claims. The MiLEAP CDC dataset used here includes all claims submitted within the full 90-day window and therefore reflects the complete December count.
