Definition

The number of infant deaths to individuals less than one year of age.

Race categories are as follows:

White non-Hispanic - infant deaths recorded as white alone and non-Hispanic

Black non-Hispanic - infant deaths recorded as black alone and non-Hispanic

Other non-Hispanic - infant deaths recorded as any other race alone or two or more races and non-Hispanic

• infant deaths recorded as being of any race and Hispanic
