Definition

Percent of live births that were low birthweight (less than 2,500 grams or 5 pounds, 8 ounces at birth), by mother's county of residence. Data are summed over the three year period.

Includes Montana resident births only. Births that had an unknown county are only included at the state level.

NA - The count or percentage is suppressed for one of the following reasons: 1) the relative standard error was greater than 30% or couldn't be determined; 2) the number of events was too small to be appropriate for publication; or, 3) it could be used to calculate another suppressed value.
