Nigeria Newsfeed

Context

Nigeria, officially the Federal Republic of Nigeria, is a country in West Africa. It is the most populous country in Africa and in Sub-Saharan Africa. It has also been facing a lot of regional problems, one of which being BokoHaram. There are also regional conflicts in protests against governments.

Boko Haram is a terrorist organization based in northeastern Nigeria, which is also active in Chad, Niger and northern Cameroon. In 2016, the group split, resulting in the emergence of a hostile faction known as the Islamic State's West Africa Province.

Content

Due to this constant conflict and situation of unrest, this data set provides news articles and other details of conflicts and events in Nigeria.
