About this Dataset

2023 Nigerian Presidential Election

The dataset contains the results of the 2023 Nigerian Presidential Election. It contains the breakdown of the votes of the highest four scoring political parties across all the 36 states of the federation and Federal Capital Territory.

The data contains eight columns

States: Name of state
Bola Ahmed Tinubu_APC: Votes for the named candiate in the state.
Atiku Abubakar_PDP: Votes for the named candiate in the state.
Peter Obi_LP: Votes for the named candiate in the state.
Rabiu Kwankwaso_NNPP: Votes for the named candiate in the state.
Others Votes: Votes for all other participating candidates besides top four candidates.
Total Valid votes: Total number of valid votes.
Winner of State: Name of candidate who won the election in the state.
