European Top 5 Leagues Match Data 2023/24 Season

I've put together a comprehensive dataset covering all matches from Europe's top 5 leagues for the 2023/24 season. This includes every game from the

• English Premier League
• Spanish La Liga
• German Bundesliga
• Italian Serie A
• French Ligue 1 (I was equally surprised seeing it was in the top 5 )

Data

The data is split into 5 separate CSV files - one for each league. For easier analysis, I've kept the format consistent across all leagues:

• date: Match date (YYYY-MM-DD)
• matchday: Round number in the season
• home_team: Name of the home team
• away_team: Name of the visiting team
• home_score_full_time: Home team's goals at full-time
• away_score_full_time: Away team's goals at full-time
• home_score_half_time: Home team's goals at half-time
• away_score_half_time: Away team's goals at half-time
• goal_diff: Goal difference
• winner: Name of the winning team
• defeat: Name of the defeated team
• ref: Name of the match's referee

You can use this dataset to:
