U.S. Presidential Cabinet Turnover Dataset

This dataset contains data on Cabinet-level officials who have served in U.S. presidential administrations since Jimmy Carter.

It includes details about each appointee's tenure, start and end dates, gender, and days served.

The dataset covers all offices that have been part of the Cabinet at any point since 1977, including positions with temporary Cabinet status, with the exception of a few agencies.

The data excludes acting Cabinet members and is current as of February 10, 2023.
