This Eurostat dataset contains data on persons with financial burden of health care by sex, age, level of disability (activity limitation), type of health care and level of difficulty, as collected and published by the Statistical Office of the European Union.

Tables included:

• raw: Original table as downloaded from Eurostat.
• tidy: A cleaned and transformed version of the raw table, where time period values appear as rows instead of columns (unpivoted format).
