This Eurostat dataset contains data on persons visiting a doctor in the last 12 months by sex, age, level of disability (activity limitation), medical specialty and number of visits, as collected and published by the Statistical Office of the European Union.

Tables included:

• raw: Original table as downloaded from Eurostat.
• tidy: A cleaned and transformed version of the raw table, where time period values appear as rows instead of columns (unpivoted format).
