The dataset contains the balance of payments (b.o.p.) and the international investment position (i.i.p.) for the euro area as a whole vis-à-vis its main trading partners. The b.o.p. and i.i.p. statistics generally follow the breakdown of the 5th edition of the IMF Balance of Payments Manual (BPM5).
