Euro Area Balance Of Payments And International Investment Position Statistics

The concepts and definitions used in balance of payments (b.o.p.) and international investment position (i.i.p.) statistics are generally in line with the IMF Balance of Payments Manual (fifth edition, October 1993), the ECB Guideline of 16 July 2004 on the statistical reporting requirements of the ECB (ECB/2004/15), and Eurostat documents.
