Directory Of Public Authorities

The Authorities Budget Office is required by Section 6(b) of Public Authorities Law (PAL) to maintain a comprehensive inventory of state and local authorities. Section 6 (j) of Article 1, Title 2 of PAL gives the Authorities Budget Office (ABO) the power and duty to develop a comprehensive definition of public authorities, including a consolidated listing by class and name.
