Stronghold Watersheds

Stronghold Watersheds were developed to provide information about the location of important 12-digit watersheds within Maryland for the conservation of primarily freshwater fish and mussel species considered rare, threatened, endangered, or in need of conservation in the state. Some rare freshwater aquatic species, such as dragonflies or crayfishes were not included in this analysis.
