Louisville Metro KY Public Works Mowing Areas

This dataset represents right-of-way mowing areas within Metro Louisville and was developed to support operational and permitting workflows in Accela. The data was compiled using a combination of existing internal datasets, spreadsheet-based records, and detailed review against current aerial photography and parcel data provided by the Louisville Property Valuation Administrator (PVA). To improve accuracy and reduce duplication, the mowing areas were also compared and cross-referenced with known mowing extents maintained by other local entities, including the Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD). The resulting dataset reflects a consolidated and spatially validated representation of mowing responsibilities intended to support consistent decision-making, coordination, and data sharing across agencies.
