These data represent the offshore wind leases within the U.S. Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) - federally managed waters within the U.S. Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) - managed by the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management. State leases are managed by individual state leasing authorities. The data show Individual blocks and sub-blocks, commercial, research, and right of way lease areas. Leases are considered provisional after auction, prior to signatures from BOEM and the Lessee.
