This dataset shows areas within an existing lease where one or more wind energy projects are being planned for development. These areas were provided by the offshore wind project developers (leaseholders), at the request of the BOEM Office of Renewable Energy Programs, as part of their Construction and Operations Plan (COP.) This data is subject to change and will be updated as new publicly available information is released.
