This dataset is a multi-purpose data set that aids in the administration of grazing allotments under the AZ Bureau of Land Management (BLM) grazing program, and also in scientific, integrated land use planning or other activities that would affect, or be affected by, livestock grazing.
An allotment is an area of land designated and managed for grazing of livestock. It may include private, state, and public lands under the jurisdiction of the Bureau of Land Management and/or other federal agencies. An allotment is derived from its pastures.
