Memorials, Monuments, Fountains, And Water Features In The District Of Columbia

Memorials, monuments, fountains, and water features in National Parks in the District of Columbia. This was originally developed to meet specific needs for "Making the District of Columbia Safe and Beautiful" Executive Order 14252 (EO 14252).

Related to the fountains and water features data, fountains and water features not under the purview of the NPS have since been filtered out. Points have been added beyond specific requests related to EO 14252 in order to make the dataset more comprehensive. While efforts have been made to make this a comprehensive listing, the GIS specialist that developed this dataset may have missed features.
