Dataset Description

Data summarizing percent cover of key growth forms (shrubs, dwarf shrubs, graminoids, forbs, trees, and moss) in littoral plant zones surrounding shallow lakes. Data were collected 2008-2025 in Central Alaska and Arctic Network parklands. These data were used for the publication: "Continuous and discontinuous permafrost zones exhibit divergent shifts in the littoral vegetation of shallow lakes in the arctic and subarctic" submitted to the Journal of Geophysical Research Biogeosciences.
