Dataset Description

This dataset comes from the Annual Community Survey questions related to resident satisfaction with Safety in Parks. Survey participants are asked: “Feeling of safety during the day (and at night) in the following places: a) Neighborhood parks; b) City parks such as Kiwanis & Tempe Beach; c) Desert parks such as Papago & Evelyn Hallman.” Survey respondents are asked to rate their satisfaction level on a scale of 5 to 1, where 5 means "Very Satisfied" and 1 means "Very Dissatisfied" (without "don't know" as an option).

The survey is mailed to a random sample of households in the City of Tempe and has a 95% confidence level.

This page provides data for the Safety in Parks Performance Measure.

The performance measure page is available at 1.23 Safety in Parks
