The Austin Small and Minority Business Resources' Certification Division maintains certification for minority-owned, women-owned, and disadvantage businesses. Graduation from the Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women Business Enterprise (WBE) Procurement Program can be based on a firm’s gross receipts or number of employees exceeding the Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard in the firm’s industry.
