Monthly Admissions And Releases

This dataset identifies the total number of individuals that have been admitted to and released from CDCR custody in monthly increments as of January 31, 2014 to present.

Note: On June 30, 2021, the Admissions data methodology was changed and is now calculated based upon the date the offender was placed in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation’s custody instead of the start date of the offender’s prison term.
