Census Data Catalog

This dataset materializes the metadata exposed by the U.S. Census Bureau root catalog at https://api.census.gov/data/.

It includes:

• datasets: one row per Census dataset (vintage, path segments, links to geography, variables, groups, documentation, and contact information).
• groups: one row per variable group within each dataset (when available via c_groupsLink).
• variables: one row per variable within each dataset (when available via c_variablesLink).

A separate Baselight dataset exists for each Census dataset, containing the full matrix of variables by geography.
