DSIT: Spend Control Data

This dataset is also known as Exceptions to cross-government moratoria on spend or exceptions to spending controls. Files previously released list items of spend that have been allowed via the Cabinet Office Approval process by departments since the announcement (24 May 2010) of six cross-government moratoria: ICT spend above £1m; Advertising and marketing; Consultancy; Commercial; Property leases & lease extensions; and Civil Service recruitment. Exceptions to spend requests may not be required for each sector every quarter by the Department. Datasets for Departments for Energy and Climate Change; and Business, Innovation and Skills are available as separate entity names.
